At TransCanada, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in the communities where we operate and are proud to work toward this objective with other business leaders.
Collaborating through organizations, such as Business Roundtable, major North American corporations are actively finding ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, conserve water and protect the environment — achievements that benefit North America and the rest of the world.
The new report, Create, Grow, Sustain: Celebrating Success, released by Business Roundtable, highlights the sustainability efforts of 150 companies, including TransCanada, which are driving investment, economic growth and job creation — while simultaneously improving the communities where we live, work and operate.
To this end, TransCanada has invested $5 billion in emission-less energy sources, is actively involved in conservation efforts across the continent through partnerships with Ducks Unlimited and the Nature Conservancy of Canada and we take proactive approaches in all our projects that align with our commitment to environmental protection.
